0.6x + 0.8 = 0.28x + 1.16

0.6x - 0.28x = 1.16 - 0.8

0.32x = 0.36

x =  \frac{0.36}{0.32}

x = 1.125

 \displaystyle \: 0.6x + 0.8 = .28x + 1.16

  \implies \: \displaystyle \: 0.6x  - 0.28x=  1.16 - 0.8

  \implies \: \displaystyle \: 0.32x  =  0.36

  \implies \: \displaystyle \: x  =   \frac{0.36}{0.32}

  \implies \: \displaystyle \: x  =  \frac{9}{8}
