 \sqrt{0.9}  \\  =   \sqrt{( \frac{9}{10}) }  \\  =  \frac{3}{ \sqrt{10} } \\  =  \frac{3 \sqrt{10} }{10} \\  =  \frac{3 \times 3.16}{10}    \\  =  \frac{9.48}{10}  \\  = 0.948 \:  \:  \: (approx.)
