0.9% sodium chloride solution is good and balanced to RBC . A lab technician accidently places a sample of RBCs in 1.8% of sodium chlorode solution . What happens ? Why?

the peripheral proteins on the rbc cell membrane are dissosciated.

because peripheral proteins attached with positive interaction to negative outer membrane .

this interaction between proteins and membrane are replaced by sodium ions in the salt.
