1. Common salt soluble in water because it gets dissolved easily in it, but sand does not dissolve.

2. a) material can be defined as a subatance from which a thing is made or composed.

b) Every material have molecules.

c) Material are of three types- solid, liquid and gas.

d) some examples of material are wood, iron, plastic, etc.

3. Metals like copper, iron, gold, bronze, mercury, aluminium etc., unlike metals there is sea water which is the conductor of electricity. Defonation of conductor of electricity-- Substances which are used for electricity/ wire purpose and is safe for electric works. some materials like wood and plastic are not good conductors of electricity.
