018 Find the greatest number which divides 1385,1457 and 1628 leaving remainders 5,2
and 4 respectively.​

answer :

First subtract 5, 2, 4 from 1385, 1457, 1628. then find the Hcf

1385 - 5 = 1380

1457 - 2= 1455

1628 - 4= 1624

1380= 2×2×3×5×23

1455= 3×5×97

1624= 2×2×2×7×29

HCF= 1

HCF of 1380, 1455, 1620  =1

Hence 1 is the largest positive integer that will divide 1385 , 1457 , 1628 remainders 5 , 2 ,4....
