Answer:

The share of D is 3000₹, total amount = 14,000₹

Step-by-step explanation:

   Given that A sum of amount is distributed among A, B, C and D

   in the proportion of 5 :2 :4 :3  which mean the ratio of amount distributed among A, B, C and D  is equals to 5: 2: 4: 3

  let the amounts distributed among A, B, C and D are 5x, 2x, 4x and  3x

  because the amounts are in 5: 2: 4: 3

  C gets ₹1000 more than  D

  ∴  difference between C and D amounts = 1000₹

                                          4x -3x = 1000

                                           x =1000

   the share of D = 3x = 3(1000) = 3000

  share of A = 5x = 5(1000)= 5000

  share of  B=2x = 2(1000) =2000

  share of C= 4x = 4(1000) = 4000

   the total amount shared between them =   5x + 2x+ 4x+ 3x

                                    =5(1000) +2(1000) +4(1000) +3(1000)

                                    = 5000+ 2000+ 4000+3000

                                    = 14000₹
