06. A courtyard 20 m long and 15m broad is to be paved with bricks of length 25
cm and breadth 12 cm. Find the number of bricks required.​

Length of court yard = 20m

breadth = 15 m

area = l×b = 20×15 = 300m² = 300×10000 cm²

length of a brick = 25cm

breadth = 12cm

area of a brick = 25×12 = 300 cm²

number of bricks = (area of courtyard)/(area of a brick)

                        = (300×10000)/(300)

                        = 10000 bricks
