on x-axis,

y-coordinate = 0

so, if y=0, then

3x + 4×0 = 6

=> x = 6/3 = 2....

again, on y-axis,

x - coordinate = 0

so, if x=0, then

3×0 + 4y = 6

=> y = 6/4 = 3/2

so, point of intersection on :

x-axis - (2,0)

y-axis - (0,3/2)

........2nd method....

3x + 4y =6

=> 3x/6 + 4y/6 = 1

=> x/2 + y/(3/2) = 1

x- intercept= 2

y- intercept = 3/2

so, intersection point on :

x - axis - (2,0)

y - axis - (0,3/2)
