Step-by-step explanation:

1).

a - 4b - 6c - ( 2a - 3b - c )

=> a - 4b - 6c - 2a + 3b + c

=> - a - b - 5c

2).

A = a + b + c

B = a - b + c

C = a - b - c

A + B + C = ?

Substituting the values,

=> ( a + b + c ) + ( a - b + c ) - ( a - b - c )

=> a + b + c + a - b + c - a + b + c

=> 2a - a + 2b - b + 3c

=> a + b + 3c

Hence, A + B + C = a + b + 3c
