So, when the denominator is so small that it is virtually zero, the quotient becomes so big that we call it infinity. Hence, x/0 = infinity, where x is any non zero number. ... So the ultimate answer is undefined, because the true answer "infinity" has no defined value

Hey dear!!
here is your answer:

1/0 the given statement equals to infinity because....
Any number divided by zero is undefined in mathematics..
Coz.. You can't divide any number in nothing..!!
Ex:6/0(undefined)
-----------------------
So let's understand the meaning of 6/0
Suppose you have a pizza with six slices and you have to divide those six slices equally among no-one...then how many slices will each person get!!.....weird right!!?
So that's why any number divided by 0 is undefined or equals to infinity..
