distributive property:(a+b)(a+c)=a(b+c)
a=1/2,b=1/4,c=6
so,(1/2×1/4)+(1/2×6)=1/2(1/4+6)
=1/2(25/4)=25/6=4 1/6
a=1/2,b=1/4,c=6
so,(1/2×1/4)+(1/2×6)=1/2(1/4+6)
=1/2(25/4)=25/6=4 1/6

the property you have listed is wrong
the property is (a×b)c=ac×bc
secondly this propery is known as commutative property
how you got 6as denominator
