Answer:

2, 1

Step-by-step explanation:

Let 1/3x + 4y = p-----(1) and 1/2x – 3y = q……. (2)

So 1 / 2 p + 1/5 q = 1 / 4

       5 p – 2 q = - 3/2

So the equations are

10 p + 8 q = 5

10 p – 4 q = - 3

-----------------------------

           8q = 8

            q = 1

5 p – 2(1) = - 3/2

 5 p = 1 / 2

  P = 1/10

So p = 10 and q = 1

Substituting  in 1 and 2 we get

1 / 3 x + 4y = 1/10

1/2x – 3y = 1

So 3 x + 4 y = 10 x 2

     2 x – 3 y = 1 x 3

We get

     6 x + 8 y = 20

     6 x – 9 y = 3

-----------------------------

         17 y = 17

          Y = 1

3 x + 4(1) = 10

   X = 2

So we get x and y as 2, 3
