  • This is used to separate mixtures from compound.
  • This is the process in which no new substances are from.
  • This is Reversible change.
  • It changes it's size and shape.
  • For example :- Melting of ice , chopping wood and mixing sand in water...etc.

  • This is the process in which we combines or add two substances to form new substance.
  • This is non Reversible change.
  • In this new substances are form.
  • It changes it's colour , size and it's change its temperature after combining.
  • For example :- Souring of milk , Rusting of iron and baking of cake.. etc.
