1/3 of the 6 dozen fruits in a fruit-seller's cart are apples.If 1/4 of all the fruits are apples and the rest of the fruits are bananas.Find how may dozen bananas are there in the fruit-seller's cart

1) apples =1/3 × 6 dozen
=2 dozen

2) total no of fruits are 6 dozen
=12×6
=72
3)1/4 of 72 are apple
apple =1/4×72
=18

4) 1 dozen = 12 apple
= 18 apple
1+1/2 dozen are apple.
5) dozen of banana = 6-(1+1/2)
= 6-3/2
=9/2

=4.5 dozen banana
