\huge\tt\colorbox{white}{AnsweR}

\sf\:\frac{1}{3} \times x=\frac{1}{2} \times (200-x)

\sf\:⟹\frac{x}{3} =\frac{200-x}{2}

\tt\purple{Cross\:multiplying}

\sf⟹\:3(200-x)=2x

\sf⟹\:600-3x=2x

\sf⟹\:600-3x-2x=0

\sf⟹\:600-5x=0

\sf⟹\:-5x=-600

\sf\:⟹5x=600["-"\:and\:"-"\:cancelled\:from\:both\:sides]

\sf⟹\:x=\frac{600}{5}

\tt\pink{➪\:x=120}

\sf\huge\bold{\underline{\underline{{Solution}}}}

\sf \large \dfrac{1}{3} x =  \dfrac{1}{2} (200 - x)

\sf \longmapsto \dfrac{x}{3}  =  \dfrac{1}{2} (200 - x)

Now ,first step is cross multiply to both sides.

\sf \longmapsto2x = 3(200 - x)

\sf \longmapsto2x = 600 - 3x

On the right hand side 3x is in negative so,when we move ot towards left hand side it gets added.

Now ,take Variable terms together.

\sf \longmapsto2x + 3x = 600

\sf \longmapsto5x = 600

\sf \longmapsto \: x =  \dfrac{600}{5}  ={ \bold{ 120}}

Check

\sf \longmapsto \dfrac{1}{3}  \times 120 =  \dfrac{1}{2} (200 - 120)

\sf \longmapsto40 =  \dfrac{1}{2}  \times 80 = 40
