3x + 7 = 3(x + 2) + 1

3x + 7 = 3x + 6 + 1

3x +7 = 3x + 7

3x - 3x = 7 - 7

0 = 0

= 0

Check :-

3(0) + 7 = 3(0 + 2) + 1

0 + 7 = 3(2) + 1

7 = 6 + 1

7 = 7

So , they are equal.... Hence , out answer is :-

x = 0

Answer:

3x + 7 = 3(x + 2) + 1

3x + 7 = 3x + 6 + 1

3x +7 = 3x + 7

3x - 3x = 7 - 7

0 = 0

= 0

Check :-

0 + 7 = 3(2) + 1

7 = 6 + 1

7 = 7

x = 0
