Price of the sweet = Rs. 32

To Find:

Cost of 2.1/2 kg of the sweet

Solution:

1/2 kg = 0.25 kg

Similarly,

2.1/2 = 2.5kg

Let the cost of 1 kg sweet be = x

Therefore if .25 kg costs 32,

Then -

x × 0.25 = 32 

x = 32 × 100/25

= 3200/25

x = 128

Now cost of  2.5 kg sweet will be -  

= 2.5 × 128

= 320

Answer: Cost of 2.5 kg of the sweet is Rs. 320
