Let Raju's money = x, ramu's money = y
1/4x = 1/6y ....( i )
x + y = 600 .....(ii )
put the value of x of (i) equation in (ii) equation
1/4x = 1/6y
x = 4/6y = 2/3y
x + y = 600
2/3y + y = 600
(2/3 + 1)y = 600
(5/3)y = 600
y = 600 *3/5
y = 1800/5
y = 360
the value of y put in (ii) equation
x + y = 600
x + 360 = 600
x = 600-360 = 24
Hence x = 24 , y = 360
raju's money is 24 and ramu's money is y = 360
1/4x = 1/6y ....( i )
x + y = 600 .....(ii )
put the value of x of (i) equation in (ii) equation
1/4x = 1/6y
x = 4/6y = 2/3y
x + y = 600
2/3y + y = 600
(2/3 + 1)y = 600
(5/3)y = 600
y = 600 *3/5
y = 1800/5
y = 360
the value of y put in (ii) equation
x + y = 600
x + 360 = 600
x = 600-360 = 24
Hence x = 24 , y = 360
raju's money is 24 and ramu's money is y = 360
