1.5 g of common salt is dissolved in water.the solution was found to weigh 115g. calculate the mass by the mass percentage of common salt in the solution.

mass of solute(common salt)= 1.5g
mass of solution = 115g
percentage of solution by using mass by mass percent of solution =mass of solute / mass of solution ×100
=1.5/115×100
=1.30g

Mass of Dispersed Phase=1.5g
Mass of Solution 115g.
Therefore, % of Solute= 1.5/115 *100
=1.3g.
