Given:

Mass of KCl= 5g

Molar mass of KCI=74.6

Volume of solution = 100 cm³ = 0.1L

(1000 cm³= 1L)

To find:

Molarity of solution

Solution :

Molarity=

 \frac{no \: of \: moles \: of \: solute}{volume \: of \: solution}

No. of moles if solute=

 \frac{given \: mass}{molar \: mass}

=

 \frac{5}{74.6}

Molarity =

 \frac{5}{74.6 \times 0.1}

= 0.67M

Ans: Molarity of solution is 0.67M
