1.5x + 3.6y=2.1
let multiply 10 on both sides
15x +36y =21
dividing throughout by 3
5x +12y=7----(1)

2.5 (x+1)=6y
multiplying both sides by 10
25x +25=60y
y=25x+25/60-----(2)

(2) in (1)
5x + 12 ( 25x+25/60)=7
5x + ( 25x+25/5)=7
25x+25x+25=7×5
50x +25=35
50x=10
x= 1/5
y=25 × 1/5 +25/60
=5+25/60
= 30/60
=1/2
