1/6 of the class students are above average, 1/4 are average and rest are below average. If there are 48 students in all, how many students are below average in the class?​

And we have to find  teh number of people who are below average.

But first lets find out the people who are above average :

= 1/6 x 48

= 8

= So 8 students out of 48 are below average.

Now lets find out students who are average :

= 1/4 x 48

=12

= so 12 students are average

Now we know that rest are below average

So Students who are below average are 48-(12 + 8)

48-20

=28

Therefore  28 students are below average
