1/8 + 1/X + 1/16 = 1/24

TAKING TERM OF X TO RHS AND TAKING 1/24 TO LHS

THEN,

1/8 + 1/16 -1/24 = 1/X

TAKING LCM = 48

[6+3-2]/48 - 1/X

[9 - 2]/48 = 1/X

[ 7 ] / 48 = 1/X

CROSS MULTIPLYING

7X = 48

X = 48/7

X = 6 $\frac{6}{7}$
