please solve it with explaination

We always take out the reciprocal of the fraction whenever we divide it. As we can only do cutting in multiplying.

So the equation will be,

 \frac{ - 1}{8} \: \times \: \frac{ - 13}{2}

(We inserted -ve on 13 because negative can't ever be on the denominator.)

(-ve × -ve = +ve)

After cancellation...

In fraction,

 \frac{13}{16}

In decimals,

0.8125
