let lenght be l

now   2 3/4

=> 11/4 cm

perimeter of rectangle = 2(l+b)

so ,

13 =  2(l+b)

13 =  2(l+11/4)

13 = 2l +11/2

13 - 11/2 = 2l

26-11/2 = 2l

15/2 = 2l

=>l= 15/2*2

=>l = 15/4cm

Given, b=2  $\frac{3}{4}$ cm  =  $\frac{11}{4}$ cm

perimeter of the rectangle = 13 cm

2(l + b) = 13

⇒ 2l + 2b = 13

⇒2l + 2(  $\frac{11}{4}$) = 13

⇒2l+  2 $\frac{11}{2}$ =13

⇒2l = 13 − $\frac{11}{2}$  

​⇒2l=  $\frac{26-11}{2}$

​⇒ l =  $\frac{15}{4}$ cm

∴ length of the rectangle =  $\frac{15}{4}$ cm
