Mass of the ball = 100 gm

Velocity of the ball before collision = 20m/s

So , momentum = mv = 0.1*20 = 2 kg m/s

Velocity of the ball after collision = -20m/s ( -ve sign indicates the opposite direction )

therefore , final momentum = m(-v) = 0.1 * (-20) = -2 kg m/s

impulse = change in momentum

= final momentum - initial momentum

= -2 -2

= -4 kg m/s

Hope it will help you .
