1. A bike of mass 100 kg is moving at a speed of 10 m/s. Brakes are applied so as to produce a uniform acceleration of - 5 m/s2. If the car stops in 5 secs what is the amount of force applied by car on the brakes:​

Force per second = mass* retardation

           =  100kg* 5m/s^2

             =  500 kg m/s^2 or 500N

Force after 5 seconds = 500N * 5s

                                      =  2500N
