Given :
- initial velocity of body , u = 10 ms⁻¹
- acceleration of body = 2.5 ms⁻²
- Time = 10 s
To find :
- velocity of body after 10 seconds , v = ?
Formula used :
First equation of motion
- v = u + a t
( where u is initial velocity , a is acceleration , v is final velocity and t is time )
Calculation :
Using first equation of motion
→ v = u + a t
→ v = (10) + (2.5) (10)
→ v = 10 + 25
→ v = 35 ms⁻¹
Therefore,
Velocity of body after 10 seconds will be 35 ms⁻¹.

- The velocity of the body after “10 s”
☞ GIVEN :-
- A body moving with a Velocity = “10 m/s”
- i.e, “u” (initial Velocity) = “10 m/s”
- a (acceleration) = 2.5 m/s²
- t (time) = 10 s
☞ CONCEPTS :-
- when a body moving with constant acceleration, then the Equation of Motion is,
☞ CALCULATION :-
☞ Now, putting the value in the above formula and get the final velocity .
☞ Therefore, it's velocity after “10 s” is “35 m/s” .
