1. A car travels 200km from Delhi to ambala towards north in five hours calculate speed and velocity?
2. A scooter moving at a speed of 10m/s it stopped by applying brake which produce uniform acceleration at -0.5 m/s. How much distance will be covered by the scooter before it stops?

1. the answer of first is
speed=distance/time
so,
200/5 km/h
40km/h is the speed
now,
velocity=distance travel in a given direction/time interval
so,
200/5 km/h
40km/h is velocity also

2. the answer of second is
we have,
u=10m/s
v=o(as the object comes to rest)
a=-0.5m/s
s=?
now by formula,
2as=v square - u square
2.-o.5.s=0-100
-s=-100
s=100 metre
so,
100 metre will be covered
