Step-by-step explanation:

consumer get the washing machine on 20 %

20/ 100 *25000

= 5000

among have to pay = market value - discount value

=25000 - 5000

=20000

(I) =tax that consumer have pay is :-

18/100*20000

180

(ii) =have to pay amount + tax that consumer have pay is

20000 + 180

20180

Answer:

  • (i) ₹ 3600
  • (ii) ₹ 23600

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

  • Marked price = ₹ 25000
  • Discount = 20 %
  • Rate of GST = 18 %

To find

  • Tax
  • Total amount

Solution

SELLING PRICE:

Selling price = Marked price - Discount % of Marked price

  • [25000 - (20 % of 25000)]
  • [25000 - 5000]
  • ₹ 20000

Selling price (S.P) = ₹ 20000

TAX: (GST)

Tax = Rate of GST of Selling price

  • (18 % of 20000)
  • (18/100 of 20000)
  • ₹ 3600

Tax (GST) = ₹ 3600

TOTAL AMOUNT:

Total amount = Selling price + GST

  • ₹ 20000 + ₹ 3600
  • ₹ 23600

Total amount = ₹ 23600
