Answer:

Q.1 (a) Bepin Babu was worried about what Parimal Ghose has said about him because Parimal had all those details which only a close person knew. He knew about the bag of books, Bepin Babu wife's death and his brother's insanity.

(b) In 1772, under Warren Hastings, the East India Company took over revenue collection directly in the Bengal Presidency (then Bengal and Bihar), establishing a Board of Revenue with offices in Calcutta and Patna, and moving the pre-existing Mughal revenue records from Murshidabad to Calcutta.

Q.2 (a) The first meeting of the little boy and the Giant was beneath the tree that was covered with frost and snow. The Giant took him gently in his hands and put him up into the tree. The tree at once blossomed and the birds came and sang on it.

(b)Almas Javed: Almas Javed was ten years old. She was a student of Carmel Convent in Port Blair where her father had a petrol pump. Her mother Rahila’s home was in Nancowry island. The family had gone there to celebrate Christmas.

Now just write down how Meghna's story was different from Almas' story.
