m=\frac{v}{u}

\frac{-1}{2} = \frac{v}{u}

2v = -u -----> 1

\frac{1}{f} = \frac{1}{v} - \frac{1}{u}

\frac{1}{6} = \frac{1}{v} + \frac{1}{2v} [From 1]

\frac{1}{6} = \frac{2}{2v} + \frac{1}{2v} [LCM]

\frac{1}{6} = \frac{3}{2v}

2v = 18 [Cross Multiplication]

v = 9cm -------> 2

Substituting 2 in 1

-u = 18

u = -18
