1 dozen bananas= 12 bananas

rate of 12 bananas=60 ps.

rate of 1 banana=60/12=5 ps.

he purchased 8 dozen.bananas

rate of 8 dozen banans =8*60=480

no. of bananas in 8 dozen = 8*12

=96

In 96 bananas 7 got spoiled

hence,he sold only 96-7=89 bananas

he sold 1 banana at the rate of 6 ps.

therefore, cost of 89 banans will be

89*6=534 ps.

then, the net profit is 534-480=54 ps

hope it helps
