Cost price
4 lemons = Rs 3
1 lemon = Rs 3/4 = Rs 0.75
Selling price
5 lemons = Rs 4
1 lemon = Rs 4/5 = Rs 0.8
So, S.P>C.P
gain= S.P - C.P
= Rs 0.8 - Rs 0.75
= Rs 0.05
Therefore,
Gain percent= Gain*100/C.P
= 0.5*100/0.75
= 66.67%
4 lemons = Rs 3
1 lemon = Rs 3/4 = Rs 0.75
Selling price
5 lemons = Rs 4
1 lemon = Rs 4/5 = Rs 0.8
So, S.P>C.P
gain= S.P - C.P
= Rs 0.8 - Rs 0.75
= Rs 0.05
Therefore,
Gain percent= Gain*100/C.P
= 0.5*100/0.75
= 66.67%
