Answer:The amount left is Rs 30592

Solution:

Given,

Cost of 1 radio set = Rs 1200.

No. of radio sets = 40.

Thus, cost of 40 radio sets = Rs 1200 x 40 = Rs 48000.

The amount that the merchant had with her = Rs 78592

Total amount the merchant spent on buying radio  = Rs 48000

Thus, the total amount left with the merchant

= Rs 78592 – Rs 48000 = Rs 30592.

From the given information, we came to know that the merchant had an amount of Rs.78592 with her before the order.

After she made an order of 40 radios at a total of Rs 48000, the total amount of money left with her after the purchase is Rs.30592.
