=50×30=1500 sq.cm

A strip 6 cm wide is cut from all around.So

Length of remaining sheet=50−6−6=38 cm

Breadth of remaining sheet=30−6−6=18 cm

Area of remaining sheet=38×18=684 sq.cm

Area of strip cut out=1500−684=816 sq.cm
