Given :-

  • Dimensions of rectangular lawn = 75m and 50m.
  • Diameter of circular pond = 35m.

To Find :-

  • The area of the remaining lawn ?

Formula Used :-

  • Area of Rectangle = Length * Breadth
  • Area of circle = π * (radius)²
  • Radius = (Diameter)/2

Solution :-

→ Area of rectangular lawn = 75 * 50 = 3750m².

Now,

→ Radius of circular Pond = (35/2)m

So,

→ Area of circular Pond = (22/7) * (35/2) * (35/2) = (11 * 5 * 35)/2 = (55 * 35)/2 = 962.5m²

Therefore,

The area of the remaining lawn = Area of rectangular lawn - Area of circular Pond

→ The area of the remaining lawn = 3750 - 962.5 = 2787.5m² (Ans.)

Hence, The area of the remaining lawn is 2787.5m².
