The total paid back amount for the case of any loan will be :

Total paid back amount = Loan amount + Interest amount

By, putting the given values, we get :

Total paid back amount = 20000+1000 = Rs. 21000

Answer:

1)paid \: back \: amount = \\ \: \: \: interest + loan \\ = 1000 + 20000 = 21000 \: rupees

2)S.I= \frac{PRT}{100} = \frac{400 \times 4 \times 2}{100} = \frac{3200}{100} = 32

total \: amount = \\ principal + simple \: interest \\ = 400 + 32 = 432 \: rupees
