let x rs500 prizes are  there.200-x rs100 prizes
500x +200-x*100=50000
500x+20000-100x=50000
400x=30000

Let 500 Rs prizes be x & 100 Rs prizes be y

50000 = 500x + 100y => 500 = 5x + y

x + y = 200 (total no. of prizes)

Solve, X = 75 & y = 125

2. D = N + 3

(N - 3)/(D+2) = 1/5

=> 5D - 30 = D + 2

=> D = 8 & N = 5 => number is 5/8
