1. Aluminium hydroxide reacts with sulphuric acid to form aluminum sulphate and water. Write a balanced equation for this reaction.

Aluminum hydroxide is a base as it is hydroxide of metal which are basic in nature whereas sulphuric acid is an acid therefore reaction of acid and base will form salt and water . The reaction is called as neutralization reaction. Here sulphate salt of aluminum is formed with water.

The reaction is:  

2Al(OH)₃ + 3H₂SO₄ →Al₂(SO₄)₃ + 6H₂O
