Take 3 common
3[8a^3 - 1)

apply following formula
a^3 - b^3 = (a-b)(a^2 + ab + b^2)

so finally it will reduce to
3[(2a-1)(4a^2 + 2a + 1)
It cannot be further factorised
hence this is your answer

--------------------------------

2)

x^3 + 1 = (x + 1)(x^2 -x + 1)

so finall equation will reduce to
(x+1)[x^2 -x +3]

(1) 24a^3 - 3
=> 3(8a^3 - 1)
=> 3[ (2a)^3-1^3]
=> 3(2a-1)( 4a^2 +1 + 2a)
=> 3(2a-1)( 4a^2 + 2a +1)
