the difference between the arrangement of elements in Mendeleev periodic table and Modern Periodic Table are..1 Mendeleev periodic table based on atomic masses but modern based on atomic number. 2 in Mendeleev periodic table the property of an element is the periodic function of its atomic masses but in modern the property of an element is the periodic function of its atomic number.3. in Mendeleev periodic table there are 6 periods but in modern there are 9 periods 4. in Mendeleev periodic table there are 10 groups but in modern there are 18 groups 5. in Mendeleev periodic table there are less eliments as compared to modern.6. in Mendeleev periodic table there are some gaps but in modern there are not any gaps.....hope u like mark me braibleist
