2- There are 12 neutron and 11 proton in the nucleus of an atom what is its mass no. and no. of electron present in shell?

1) atomic no. = no. of protons

= 30 protons

mass no. = no. of proton + no. of neutron

66 = 30 + no. of neutron

66- 30 = no. of neutron

36 = no. of neutron

2) mass no. = no. of protons + no. of neutrons = 12 + 11 = 22

no. of electron = no. of protons = 11

electron in the outer most shell = 2 (2,8,2)
