1. The sri krishna eating house was the meanest and shabbiest restaurant Hari had ever seen;even in thul there were cafés that pleasanter; usually wooden shacks built under the shade of a mango or frangipani tree , and possibly a bright picture of a god or a goddess on the wall.

2. The lower earned people come to the Sree Krishna Eating House. Specially beggars and collies. They came to this particular restaurant as it was the cheapest restaurant in the Bombay beggar could afford to buy himself a meal here.
