2) (i) It was a unique case because Bepin Babu is the only one who lost his memory. Everyone, except him, recalls about his trip to Ranchi.

   (ii) Bepin Babu was too embarrassed to tell Dr Chanda the truth.

   (iii) Nothing was wrong with Bepin Babu. He had merely been tricked by Chunilal. There was no lapse of memory to Bepin Babu.
