The 'r' for the given G.P. i.e, 1/512, 1/128, 1/64...... is 2

r = 2

We know that,

T = ar^n-1

Here, T1 = 1/512

T2 = 1/128

T3 = 1/64

Therefore,

T1 = a = 1/128

T2 = ar^2-1 = ar^1

1/128 = ar ........... e.q. 1

T3 = ar^3-1 = ar^2

1/64 = ar * r

1/64 = (1/128) * r ............from e.q. 1

r = 2
