Q 1. Calculate the number of moles for following

(a) 52 g of He ( find mole from mass)

Number of moles = n

⟹ Given mass = m

⟹ Molar mass = M

⟹ Given number of particles = N

Atomic mass of He = 4u

molar mass of He = 4g

number \: of \: moles =  \frac{given \: mass}{molar \: mass}

n =  \frac{52}{4}

n = 13

(b). 12.044 × 10²³ number of He atoms ( find mole from number of particals )

as we know ,

1 mole = 6.022 ×10²³

number \: of \: moles \\  \frac{12.024 \times 10²³ }{6.022 \times 10²³}

 = 2
