Answer:

1) There are three basic shapes of bacteria: coccus, bacillus, and spiral. Based on planes of division, the coccus shape can appear in several distinct arrangements: diplococcus, streptococcus, tetrad, sarcina, and staphylococcus. The bacillus shape can appear as a single bacillus, a streptobacillus, or a coccobacillus

2) Bacteria enrich the soil with various nutrients such as Nitrogen, Phosphorous and improve the quality and texture of the soil. Azotobacter and Azospirillum are free-living bacteria which absorb free nitrogen present in soil, air and convert them into amino acids and enrich the soil.

3)Pasteurization (or pasteurisation) is a process of heat processing a liquid or a food to kill pathogenic bacteria to make the food safe to eat. It involves heating the food to kill most harmful microorganisms. Producers pasteurize dairy and other foods to make them safe to eat.
