\sf\large{Que:} Compare nitrification and denitrification.

\sf\large{Ans:}Both nitrification and denitrification occur in soil. Nitrification is a process of conversion of ammonia into nitrates and nitrates that enrich the soil with usable forms of nitrogen. Dentrification involves this integration of of nitrates by bacteria and release of gaseous nitrogen to atmosphere. It maintains continuous supply of nitrogen in atmosphere.
