2.Take a point P ,which is 6cm away from the centre of the circle and join O and P.

3.Construct perpendicular bisectors of OP and join X and Y. and intersecting point of XY and OP is M.

4.Take the radius OM = MP draw another circle which touches the previous circle at A and B.

5.Join P and A , P and B.

6.PA and PB are the pair of tangents to the given circle.
